Today’s CRfH is a nice role reversal for Dave and Margaret. On two different occasions fans have seen Margaret watching over Dave in a hospital bed. Now it was Dave’s turn… and it was most touching, whether you consider Dave and Margaret to be friends… or are among a vocal group of fans who insist that Dave and Margaret are meant for each other (romantically).

I must admit to feeling slightly let down, despite how touching the update was. I wanted to see more between Diana and Roger… and more with Dave and Roger. Instead nothing is resolved. I suppose Dave would rather spend time with Margaret, to make sure she pulled through, rather than a roommate he doesn’t trust and another who he tends to dislike.

No doubt we’ll be getting back to Roger and Diana soon. In fact, if Maritza is her usual twisty self, we’ll probably switch to Roger or Mike for a day or two and then go back to Dave and Margaret… and his probable revelation about divine drycleaning. Still, this is also tradition for Maritza. We didn’t focus on the journey home near the end of The Adversary storyline… so it makes sense for Maritza to rush things for Dave and crew this time as well. Meanwhile… it’s a beautiful update, Maritza. Artistically… and as a storyteller.
