While I don't entirely agree, you do have a valid point there. Heather wasn't acting all that suspicious (though I must admit, I'm not particularly jealous of other people so I might be missing those signals there). Jack was, but Jack also has an ungodly fear of Angela. ^^ Beware the Short Ones indeed!

By the way, those worms really are nice and fresh! ^^ Heather has shown a number of passive-aggressive tendencies. While I'm fairly certain that the comic series will end with Angela moving back in with Heather, it might be interesting to see Angela insist that Heather grow a bit as well. She needs to overcome her passive-aggressive tendencies and take charge of her life. And she could start at work.

To be honest... I think that Heather did mean it when she told Angela they were breaking up. However, I think she was also willing to allow Angela a second chance and was using the threat to force Angela to stop hiding behind quick meaningless apologies. There was a certain bit of remorse or regret there when Angela took her stuff and left without a real goodbye or saying anything more.

And hey, let's be honest here. Only Aeire knows for certain. I'm only giving my perspectives based on reading the comic a half dozen times. ^^;;

For the record, Heather did as much to cause the breakup as Angela did. "I love you," even repeated as often as it was in the flashback sequence, is a hollow phrase unless it's backed up by recognizable action, and Heather acted more than a little suspicious, especially where Jack was concerned. Seriously, a person she met through Angela repeatedly shows up at her work and she doesn't even bother to mention it? Then Angela comes home from work--twice--to find them together on the couch and Jack jumps up with a "Whoopsgottago!" I don't care what color your glasses are, that looks hinky in every light.

And to be completely accurate, Angela didn't run away. She failed to fight to stay when Heather called for an end to the relationship (which, if she meant it, makes one question why she never bothered to examine how her own behavior affected Angela's, and if she didn't opens a whole new can of worms on the passive-agressive front).
