I just wanted to wish a happy Second Anniversary to the superhero parody comic Atomic Laundromat. AL is shifting gears to focus on the trial of Messiah Man (our protagonist’s superhero father) for indecent exposure, after he got caught in his skivvies when trying to change in a phone booth (having forgotten that they have glass doors these days, unless of course you sneak into The Doctor’s police booth (which, I must admit, would be an amusing one-shot to see Armando Valenzuela draw)). The last few strips have actually switched back to greyscale due to time constraints, but to be honest, given the recent focus on David’s father in many ways this suits the comic. An old-school look for an old-school hero. Happy Anniversary, Valenzuela.
