For the last couple of weeks, Evil Inc. has been indulging in flashbacks of when Miss Match was pregnant with Captain Heroic’s son. For the most part Brad J. Guigar has played up the humor of the story (such as Miss Match having to take a bathroom break in the middle of a fight with a superhero), but there has been the occasional touching scene in the comic such as today’s strip. I have to wonder if Guigar is speaking from personal experience here; I don’t know if he’s married or not, but I suspect that if he is, and has children… that seeing your wife in pain and being unable to help must be heartrending. This might also be why Oscar’s an only child; Captain Heroic might not want to put his wife through that again.
