Puck

Another comic consisting of a prequel and sequel is the contemporary fantasy comic Puck, concerning the fairy Robin “Puck” Goodfellow. The initial comic was actually a university newspaper comic and focused on Puck who after 621 years of life decides to adopt a young… dog-girl (Daphne) who she finds on her front doorstep and then goes off to college to get a degree so she can afford a kid. From there, things only get more insane as Puck ends up with a human boyfriend, and the Devil’s daughter as a roommate. But after 80 or so updates (and several years of college), the comic came to an end… until the cartoonist decided to drag out the work a decade later and restart it by having Puck wake up after smacking her head and having forgotten the last several years of her life (including the fact she’s pregnant with Colin’s baby, which is why she lost her memory in the first place. The comic only has a loose relationship with storyline and often embraces gag-comics, but manages to be a delightful read and well worth adding to your reading list.
